Accelerated Remediation Technologies has successfully applied our ART PFAS Technology principles to develop a treatment cell specifically designed to remove PFAS compounds from leachate. This patent-pending, innovative unit serves as the final step in the leachate treatment process before it is discharged into the Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) sewer lines. The treatment cell employs fractionation (foaming) and volatilization techniques to remove PFAS chemicals. The PFAS-laden foam is then extracted and collected for appropriate disposal.
This treatment cell can be pre-manufactured and easily transported to the site, where it is placed in a predrilled sump. Refer to the figure for a general overview of the cell’s components. Contact us to learn how we can adapt this technology to the specific requirements of your project site.
